Holistic Massage
A calming and primarily gentle form of massage that uses relaxing strokes and pressure techniques to work tensions from the body

Deep Tissue Massage
A deeper form of massage that uses pressure not force to work the underlying muscles of the body. These muscles are used constantly and subconsciously to maintain our posture. Many conditions that return shortly after ‘regular’ massage may be to do with tension in these underlying muscles.

Sports Massage
More of a collection of techniques than a type of massage per se. Sports Massage includes strokes from Holistic and Deep Tissue Massage but adds manipulations and stretches:
  • Neuro-Muscular Technique is a pressure technique that facilitates the muscles to deeply let go - increasing flexibility, releasing tension and relieving pain
  • Soft Tissue Release is a pressure technique applied to a muscle at the same time as stretching. Used to effectively dissipate ‘knots’
  • Muscle Energy Technique (aka PNF) - ‘assisted stretching’ that lengthens the muscle and releases muscular tension
Onsite Massage
Onsite massage usually takes place in a specially designed massage chair (usually seen in airports). Onsite Massage is given through clothes. Treatment times last from ten to forty-five minutes. It is also possible to receive Onsite massage on a portable massage table - given your business has space. Table massage is usually delivered using oils with the client draped with towels. For more images of Onsite Massage at an Event visit the Gallery.

What can I expect from a treatment?
Each massage has its own after glow. Holistic Massage makes people feel dreamy. Deep Tissue makes people feel ‘bruisey’ for a couple of days and then like they’re walking on air. Sports Massage makes people feel bouncy and Onsite massage makes people wish every work day could be like the one they just had.
Modesty is taken very seriously. During any un-clothed Massage the practitioner will leave the room during undressing and dressing times. Towels are used to ensure that only the section of the body worked on at the time is exposed.
