Acupuncture and Massage in Barnet![]() Who?I trained at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA) and hold a Licentiate and B.Sc. in Acupuncture and an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage. I am a fully insured member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). As well as my private clinic I also work voluntarily for the Gateway NHS Clinic in Clapham and have worked on-site in a number of different arenas! Why?I use a unique blend of manual therapies that combines the physical benefits of massage, Soft Tissue Release (STR), Neuro-Muscular Technique (NMT)and Muscle Energy Technique (MET) with the energetic benefits of Chinese Acupuncture. Both acupuncture and massage have a profound effect on the body and the mind. Used regularly they maintain a strong body for an active lifestyle - boosting the immune system and relaxing overworked muscles. I have experience in treating a wide range of health problems: from stress-related symptoms to chronic illnesses, from stroke rehabilitation to addictions and from musculo-skeletal injuries and traumas such as neck and back strain to weight loss. The BBC recently reported Acupuncture to be a "highly promising and effective treatment option for chronic back pain" See the article here Where?Located in between Whetstone, Bounds Green and Finchley the New Southgate clinic is easily reached from anywhere in Barnet!Rail: Arnos Grove station on the Picadilly Line New Southgate station on the WAGN line (from Moorgate and King's Cross) Buses: 34 and 251 Whetstone and High Barnet, 43 from Muswell Hill or 221 and 382 from Finchley / Finchley Central See map for details. |
